Nicely renovated two bedroom oceanside condo in popular midtown Ocean City, Maryland. The open living area features the living room with sleep-sofa, dining area and a well-equipped kitchen. There is a large balcony off of the living area that is a great place to relax and unwind after a long day at the beach. The first bedroom features a queen-sized bed. The second bedroom features a bunk-bed with two fulls. The full-bathroom is centrally located and easily accessible from throughout the condo. This condo has been nicely updated and is in good condition. Building location is steps from the beach and a short walk to the Ocean City Convention Center, restaurants, shopping, amusements, water sports and more. Come make some memories at the beach with Coastal Life Vacations. Linen and towel package included with reservation. Management fee includes Damage Waiver for $1000 in accidental damage coverage. Please note that this is the 2nd floor unit. License #86714

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations shall be in writing. Processing, management and credit card fees are non-refundable. Reservations canceled more than sixty (60) days prior to the check-in date will receive a 100% refund less aforementioned fees. Reservations canceled more than thirty (30) days prior to the check-in date will receive a 50% refund less aforementioned fees. No refunds will be provided for reservations canceled thirty (30) days or less prior to the check-in date. No refunds will be provided if Guest does not take occupancy of the Property. A transfer to another Property at Guest’s request will be treated as a cancellation. Reinstatement of a canceled Reservation is subject to an additional processing fee. The Reservation will be in effect upon receipt of initial required deposit payment and the applicable cancellation policy will apply at that time.

the reason for 1 star - dishes needed to be done prior to leaving, as expected, but no dish soap to do them. had to go out & purchase to avoid being charged - blood stains on the clean sheets that were dropped off, on the pillows in the master & bottom bunk - no clean blankets were provided. the comforters on the bed were unwashed & were laying on the bare mattress. they provide clean sheets in a bag at the front door for us to make our own beds but only provided a fitted sheet and basic sheet. we slept with a thin sheet between 2 people in the bed a note for future renters: the owner listed "essentials were not included" meaning no toilet paper, trash bags, or bathroom hand soap. although this was disclosed we found it very inconvenient when we showed up after a long drive and realized there was none

Hello Katherine. We just checked back on our correspondence during your stay, and not once did you mention any of these issues. We could have addressed all of these concerns relatively quickly. The linen vendor could have had new sheets out to the condo within minutes as they are local to the area. In regards to the toilet paper, paper towels, etc.... Coastal Life Vacations provides all guests of their check in information 10 days prior to arrival. These check in instructions clearly state what you will need to bring along for your trip. Had you read this information provided, you would not have showed up after a long drive and realized there was none. It is impossible for our company to run up and down Coastal Highway supplying toilet paper when folks run out, so we ask guests to kindly bring a roll of their own. We thank you for your feedback and wish you the best. Next time that you experience an issue during a stay, make sure you notify the host so that they can assist. The Airbnb message board is great for communicating and is a toll that could have helped you out. Hopefully it can in the future.

We had a great stay. The beach is a 1 min walk which is amazing, and everything else is within a 5-10 min driving distance! My family and I enjoyed our overall stay.

Not enough space to explain everything. Beware of the host and homeowner. We had to check out early and find a new condo. Their lack of concern for severe electrical issues was astounding. I notified them about lights flickering and power surging. By the 3rd afternoon/evening, we couldn't use any appliances because they would turn on/off. AC units stopped working. TV stopped working. No broom/mop no outside hose. Description said the condo was for 8 people. Utensils/plates were only for 4 people. Kitchen very poorly stocked. Unit was newly remodeled but the work was very shoddy. Cabinet doors falling off hinges, cracked cabinets, missing door pulls. The pillows were flat. We were in the middle unit and could hear everything from the downstairs and upstairs units. I think the downstairs people may be maintenance and they hung their underwear off our back porch and kept their bathroom window open. Our 7yr old walked downstairs to the truck and a woman was showering. He saw everything.

Please let us respond Erin. When notified of the electrical issues you were experiencing in the condo, Coastal Life immediately reached out to our maintenance contractor. They came to the condo and found the overhead light to be flickering and recommended replacement. After that visit, you notified our office of additional electrical concerns not mentioned in our prior communication. We again acted as quickly as possible, and reached out to our maintenance vendor to return to the condo to diagnose the new concerns highlighted. Upon that visit, the contractor found that the transistor box outside of the condo building had blown a fuse. These boxes are maintained by the Town of Ocean City and are of no fault due to the condo owner or the host. The Town of OC was immediately contacted and the box was replaced the following day. Between that call to the town and the next day repair, you elected to vacate the condo. A refund was provided from the owner. Unfortunately this problem was beyond our's or the owner's control. I can say that the issue has been resolved and we have had many happy guests in the condo since. We do apologize for the unfortunate timing of this uncontrollable even Erin. Our company and the owner moved as fast as we could to rectify the situation. Also please note, all the items mentioned above in regards to the furnishings have been addressed by the condo owner They are local to Ocean City and eager to arrange for the best experience for their guests. As far as the downstairs contractors, as upsetting as I'm sure that was for your 7 year old, they are not party to the condo owner or the host. Please note, there have been no reports of this from other guests and there have been no work trucks in the area since. Thank you for your feedback.
